We make these from either acrylic canvas or polyester/PVC. The canvas has better UV resistance. They are fitted with good quality brass eyelets. If required, names can be applied. For this we use hand cut white capital letters with a height of 200 to 250mm. These are sewn to a patch of the same colour as the dodgers. This is then sewn on to provide a double thickness over the area of the name and improves the appearance in the cockpit; as the white thread of the sewing is thereby concealed.
